Violence Affecting Women and Girls

This interactive map compiles the shared knowledge of the wider peacebuilding community on the patterns of conflict risk and vulnerability, as well as the locations of peacebuilding actors working to address those risk factors.  The Peace Map displays data from a range of participating local, national, and international initiatives and datasets.   If you would like to register your organization as a Peace Agent in Nigeria to receive automated alerts in situations of elevated conflict risk, please fill in the form indicated. If you would like your own data-set to be included on this map, please contact afeno@pindfoundation.org

The map can be searched by indicator, sub-indicator, state, Local Government Area, and time range.  The Peacebuilding Map also features analytical tools which allow for comparisons and trends.  Any findings should be considered as suggestive, not conclusive, and should be corroborated with other methods.  Click HERE for an instructional video on how to use the platform. Bulletins based on an analysis of this data can be viewed HERE.

  • Organizations self-identified as Peace Agents can be searched and visualized as green stars on the map.
