Video: Peace through Trust Building

During the Warri Crisis, trust broke down between different groups and the livelihoods of communities were devastated as a result of the insecurity and violence. The story of the Warri Ijaw-Itsekiri Grassroot Peace Front shows how social events and public education helped create an enabling environment for reconciliation in the midst of conflict. The footage for this video was filmed courtesy of the Kokodiagbene Community Elders-in-Council and facilitated by Community Peace Development Initiative.
