During the Warri Crisis, trust broke down between different groups and the livelihoods of communities were devastated as a result of the insecurity and violence. The story of the Warri Ijaw-Itsekiri Grassroot Peace Front shows how social events and public education helped create an enabling environment for reconciliation in the midst of conflict.
